Because its one of the few anime without their a severe editing from the original version. So many animes striped of their original animation and dialouge.

Well that true i agree with you I've seen every episode a couple time, but the first anime i saw that turned me onto the great world anime was the movie Sailor Moon Super S:The Black Dream Hole.Ever since anime consumed most of my TV time.

Sailor Moon is a great anime, but I do not remember my first anime...I am still debating on that..

I seem to remember watching Laputa in about 1991/2 I should be exempt based on how long ago it was, that would be my first I guess.

But if I have to guess I will say it was Saint Seya...but then again I watched so many animes that names I cannot remember..it is horrible to know you watch some animes whose names cannot remember so it is hard to look for them and more when they have come out with animes that are similar. When DB was on, I remembered watching a similar anime about a boy who was raised by good monters and his dad was one of the dragon lords which he was evil but that was long long time ago...I watched over 200 animes already and out of those anime I only remember like 160, and the list keeps on going on...hehehehehe.... the reason I have watched so many animes is because where I am from they have a local channel where is like all about animes...hehehee so when I came to the USA most animes where already shown and I already watched them hahahaha...so yeah I am still debating but I go for Saint Seya aka Caballeros del Zodiaco in spanish because I saw in spanish...it was good.

Though I am not Mexican, it is true that they got a variety of animes on local channels that in the USA do not show and if they show they edit it too much, while in spanish they keep everything and anything because the animes translated in spanish from Mexico watched in latin America. Chiyo was right I am from Honduras, the animes cross over faster and are shown faster on local channels over there and most of the time they have a channel just of cartoons and animes for kids and adults... it is a cool thing compare to the USA where animes get ruined and cut from the original version...anyways some sites like Livevideo.com, daiylymotion.com ( I think that is how is spelled) veoh.com ( you have to download the program to watch whole episodes and stuff) in my opinion are better than youtube and specially Veoh.com because it is more organize and looks the videos from you from other sites...also watching animes in their original form is way better and when you love an anime is very good to buy the series (even if you lose it and buy it again...show your love to those who spend time of their life to create such art to entertain our mind and soul) hehehehehe....

I have never fitting in any group so I was ok about that. The language is the one that hit me because I was not able to speak English hahahhaa...and that is why I rented it SAILOR MOON hahahaha and learn from there. It hurt me because people thought I new English because the people I was always with were non-Spanish speakers, so the teachers assumed I knew English and because I was always writing notes...too bad they realized it too late..hahahahah. Also another negative is that I learned what to be discriminated meant hahaha but it was ok. Besides all the bad things...everything was quite fascinating...met many new people, learned a new language and well it was just nice. I am adaptable so I was not happy but I was excited for the first year....hahahaha and well I just kept going as always like now...looking for my next great move...that will define my life or something..ahahaha

One thing I also noticed most of these animes were first aired way before 2000 and aired over here after 2000(most anime).So they have the classic style of because they were one first that kinda started the anime era.Also how do you know so many animes because I dont know most of the one's you name.:YummyNoodles:

Do not forget that the style was meant as it is, perhaps so viewer will pay more attention to the main point of the story than how the anime looks, but then again the anime sound is just cool...I believe is a very awesome anime and it has a high quality, whoever appreciates good dialogues and intriguing stories..and something left to the imagination is good...Also, you need to see the part "Faceless" and you will get hooked on....or you already got to see that...

Okay how much You know about Kiddy Grade,Slayers, Kodomo no Ochama(Kodocha)Case Closed,Fruit Basket and Spiral.All used to come on CoLours but only Slayers Kodocha and Case closed only air now.

I love Kodocha I have not watch the whole series yet, and besides the girl in the anime is the same girl (Horrie Yui) who makes the voice for Toru in fruits basket and it is the same guy who makes the anime....and Kodocha is plain funny and cute...and my favorite character is Akito...

I think I finished watching Slayers, that is an old anime now...I do not like the main character but I loved the movie though...that was funny....and well though I do not like the main character it was good while it lasted but not as good to make an impression on my taste of what to watch in animes...
Spiral, well I tried to watch it, I watched like 5 episodes, but I really tried but my mind was not cooperating with me...it was nice drawing and all but just plain boring...I mean the whole base story is interesting but just watching the anime is just boring...same goes with Kiddy Grade, my brain was like "uh....yeah look pretty colors" and move a long.... even thought there is some scenes with action and all I was like bluh....sorry never got into then, though I know the story and all because I tried to watch them....in the channel colours yep...and well I stopped watching the channels because it was too many reruns thought...I watched fruits basket like three times waiting for the ending thinking I lost it somewhere between the episodes in the reruns...but no sadly I found out I watched it beyond belief...hahaha

I just happened to stumbled upon it one day and I could catch on before they rearrange the line up.As you mention I only maybe three or four episodes of Kiddy Grade,Spiral and Fruit Basket and couldn't quite catch on.I've seen every Slayer episode but not the movie.Kodocha is awesome I recorded episode 35-11 before my satillite went down..yes I was mad.I like Sana,Akito,Aya,and Tsyoshi.Oh yeah when you said "uh....yeah look pretty color, that why its called CoLours.Case Closed is great too the creators are genius.Also Have you seen are heard or Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon (Live Action) is so--or not--I have a started a thread about it.

well, first I broke the law by uploading images from the original dvd....and the song and anime was chosen by my friend who I dedicated the amv to. After that, once again I broke the law when one friend of mine share his song with me...and then I use windows movie maker to cut the images and make it fit or at least try to make it fit to the song...I thought I was going to be over by wednesday...but I finish early...I really need to put more time..but I just slice the images and make it fit the song...I hardly make a thought of it...but then again the software that I use does not have the much tools, so once I go to class for video editing perhaps...I will buy me a better software....that will be like next year, because my budge was cut...hahahaa but I hoped you enjoyed it..

For crunchyroll? Just click on the anime tab at the top and you'll get stuff, you can look for stuff in the index and what not.
You might need to log in but creating an account is free so there's no problems there.
